The event features live entertainment, a food court, culinary stage, liver nips contest, kids rides and crafts, classic cars and plenty of vendors lining Main Street. Over 15,000 attended last year's event. Bring the family out for some fun, music, shopping and German food!
Admission The Newberry Oktoberfest is FREE. There is no charge for the live entertainment or the kids activities!
Parking There is plenty of free public parking around the festival area.
Kids Zones The Newberry Oktoberfest has plenty for the kids to do. There are two kids zones that feature inflatible rides, train rides, a petting zoo, puppet shows at the Ritz Theater and a Kids Craft Area presented by Lowe's. And it is all FREE!
Main Stage Music starts up on the Main Stage at 11:00AM. The Main Stage faces Memorial Park in front of the Newberry Opera House.
Food Local restaurants and other local vendors provide the food in two food courts. The Lower Food Court is around the Town Square and the Upper Food Court is near the Ritz Theater and the upper kids zone.
Vendors A limited number of crafters and vendors line Main Street with church/civic/non-profit groups also setting up booths in the County Courthouse parking lot. Vendor applications go out in March. To be added to the vendor list, send us your contact info to
