— The City of Newberry would like to announce that this year’s Christmas holiday event, “A Vintage Christmas”, will be held on December 14^th from 5:30pm-7:30pm. This event is a traditional Christmas celebration. Local musicians will be performing carols on Main Street in downtown Newberry. The Newberry Community Players will also be performing a unique outdoor performance that is a must see. Children will enjoy Christmas stories told at the Newberry Opera House, and a special visit from Santa Claus at Memorial Park. “A Vintage Christmas” will also provide an opportunity for families to do some shopping as our merchants will have extended hours during the event.
